By and large, it seems positive self-esteem is no match for the narrow-minded ideals of beauty unleashed on the American psyche 24-7.
Especially with so many black celebrities going under the knife routinely.
Most of these women were attractive, talented prior to plastic surgery, which suggests that the operations aren’t necessarily to become more beautiful, but more, “other.” Of course, when you’ve got the money and the excuse that everyone else is doing it, a nip here, or tuck there, hardly seems out of the question.
