Introducing….Anthony Monjaro as the brand ‘new’ face in Nollywood to watch out for. He is set to step into the role of Nollywood’s leading man….all 6 foot 3inches of him! Though born in the U.K, he had his secondary school education in Nigeria, before he crossed back to the U.K in his formative years and has been there ever since… till now!
After a long stay in the UK, Anthony finally decided to moved back to Nigeria to further his career as an actor and film maker. However he is not just a ‘pretty face’ but has the acting chops to prove it.
He has featured in a few Nollywood film spanning 7yrs as well as in alot of UK TV and film projects. His latest movie flick is “Last Flight to Abuja”, a film directed by Obi Emelonye,(producer/director, Mirror Boy).
The film also stars Hollywood Actor Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Award winning actors Omotola J. Kehinde, Jim Iyke & Jide Kosoko. This film is set to showcase his ability as a serious and talented actor in the new year (2012) when it is released in cinemas worldwide. See below some photos and stills from the movie.
