The house which initially came under the auspices of Kwankwasiyya movements an umbrella movement of the state governor was said to have allowed the state Chief Executive to nominate their Speaker a situation that gave birth to the Falgore becoming the house Speaker.
A report made available to Daily Champion indicated that the house was not satisfied on how the Speaker conducted the affairs of the legislative chamber which is alleged have been stagnated and became more of a parastatal of the state ministry rather than an independent body saddled with the responsibility of check mating the action or inactions of the executive arm.
Moving the motion for the impeachment, a member representing Bagwai local government, Alhaji Lawan Safiyanu Gogori, said the house has not leaved up to its responsibilities because of the inadequacies of the Speaker who could not appropriately coordinate the activities of the house.
Initially, there was confusion over the motion which generated heated debate including forcing the state Chief of Staff, Dr Yunusa Adamu Dangwani to hold meetings with the members seeking for truce.
However the house went ahead to perfect the impeachment on the grounds that they needed somebody who will coordinate their activities with much experience , a reason why they nominated the former house minority leader Gambo Salau who was not a member of the Kwankwasiyya movement.
